Great spring fair of Étrépagny, around 250 exhibitors in the Vexin normand
Étrépagny is a commune in the Vexin normand, in the north of the Eure department, halfway between Gisors and Les Andelys. Its spring Foire à tout is one of the most popular in the department, bringing together some 250 exhibitors every May in the streets and squares of the town. The scale of this event makes it a major meeting point for bargain hunters from the Eure, the Vexin, and the neighboring departments of Oise and Seine-Maritime.
Individuals, amateur antique dealers, and car boot sale professionals occupy the town's streets from early morning. The diversity of stalls is one of the strengths of this fair: antique furniture, tableware, household linen, tools, toys, books, clothing, and decorative objects are displayed over several hundred meters. The Norman market of rural flea markets is well represented, with pieces from farms and houses in the region.
Étrépagny is nestled in a landscape of hedgerows and forests typical of the Vexin normand. The Château de Vascoeuil, the collegiate church of Gisors, and the cliffs of the Seine at Les Andelys are less than thirty minutes away. The May Foire à tout benefits from the spring revival of the town and the influx of visitors who choose this weekend to discover the region.
The Foire à tout d'Étrépagny takes place in May, from 7 am to 6 pm, in the streets and squares of the town center. Free entry. Refreshments available in local shops. Parking on the outskirts of the town center.
