The Bennecourt Foire à Tout, a Pillar of Local Life

Every last weekend of May, Bennecourt, a charming Seine-side village at the foot of the Vexin slopes, holds its traditional Foire à Tout. Organized by the Comité des Fêtes, a non-profit whose proceeds fund village events all year round, the two-day fair brings together dozens of exhibitors in the village center on rue de l'Église.

A Fair Mixing Locals and Professionals

Unlike strictly private vide-greniers, the Bennecourt Foire à Tout welcomes a mixed audience. Residents empty attics and cellars while professionals bring antiques, old furniture, collectibles and curios. This diversity draws hunters from across the Seine-Aval region, the Norman Vexin and the neighboring Eure department.

Two Days of Relaxed Hunting

The two-day format (Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2026) lets visitors take their time and come back for last-minute bargains. Exhibitors set up from 5 AM and open to the public from 7 AM to 6 PM. The accessible registration fee (€20 for 6 meters, with a €10 cleanliness deposit refunded at day's end) encourages wide local participation.

Entertainment and Friendliness All Weekend

The Foire à Tout is also a village festival. Refreshment stands, toilets, outdoor areas and sometimes children's rides complete the experience.

Bennecourt sits on the Seine's right bank, facing Bonnières-sur-Seine. Just a few kilometers away, Giverny and Claude Monet's house draw hundreds of thousands of visitors each year: flea market enthusiasts can easily combine their day with Impressionist heritage and Seine-side walks.
