An outdoor treasure hunt in the heart of Charenton
Every spring, Charenton-le-Pont hosts the Foire à la trouvaille, a popular open-air garage sale where locals and bargain hunters gather to discover unusual objects, vintage furniture and great deals. Friendly atmosphere guaranteed on the public road, steps from the metro and the Seine.
The Foire à la trouvaille is one of spring's unmissable events in Charenton-le-Pont. Every April, residents of Val-de-Marne and flea market lovers converge on this Seine-side town to browse stalls overflowing with all kinds of finds.
Held on public streets, the event offers a lively and popular atmosphere: exhibitors set up along the pavements or on makeshift trestle tables, creating the urban flea market feel that is the hallmark of Paris suburban garage sales.
The event brings together private sellers clearing their cupboards, cellars and attics. You can discover old books, vinyl records, mismatched crockery, vintage toys, retro clothing and trinkets of all kinds. Entry is free for visitors, making it a great outing for families and friends alike.
The 2026 Foire à la trouvaille is scheduled for Saturday, 25 April in Charenton-le-Pont, on the public road. This spring garage sale, open to all, offers the chance to browse outdoors in a friendly atmosphere, steps from Paris and Charenton-Écoles metro.
Metro line 8 – Charenton-Écoles station. Buses 24, 111, 180. Limited parking in the area due to the event on public roads.
Free entry for visitors.
