A spring festival in Loudunais
Orches, a small commune of a few hundred inhabitants in the north of Vienne, between Loudun and Monts-sur-Guesnes, keeps its 1 May Lily of the Valley tradition alive. The 2026 edition takes place on Friday 1 May and combines a flea market in the village streets, morning hikes, country dance demonstrations and kids' activities. A popular event that brings together the whole local community.

At 1.50 € per metre, the Lily of the Valley Festival offers one of Loudunais' most affordable flea markets. The format stays human-scale with a few dozen sellers, mostly village residents.
