Edition 2025 — Stork Festival Flea Market
The 2025 Stork Festival of Saint-Denis-du-Payré took place on Sunday, 5 October 2025 at Place du 8 Mai. Around 60 stalls, craft market, plant fair and guided stork-watching walks brought this family day to life, organised by the Saint-Denisolais festival committee.

2025 edition review
On Sunday 5 October 2025, Saint-Denis-du-Payré hosted its Stork Festival at Place du 8 Mai. About 60 private sellers set up from 7am with clothing, toys, crockery, books and knick-knacks. The craft market featured local Marais poitevin producers and the plant fair attracted gardeners with roses, vegetable plants and succulents.
Guided white-stork observations in the Nature Reserve were a hit, along with the children's drawing contest. Bar and food by committee volunteers rounded out a friendly day in pleasant autumn weather. The Saint-Denisolais festival committee confirmed the 2026 edition.
