The 44th Diges Chestnut Festival lived up to all expectations on Saturday 18 October 2025. Over 13,000 visitors flocked to this Puisaye village for a memorable day under the autumn sun. Roasted chestnuts filled the streets with their fragrance from morning, while the car boot sale animated the squares and alleyways. The toy fair delighted families, and the craft market showcased regional skills — notably stoneware pottery, a speciality of Puisaye.
