The Castelet FC Football Club's Attic Sale

For five years, Castelet FC, the football club of the new municipality of Le Castelet (comprising Garcelles-Secqueville and neighboring villages), has organized its annual attic sale every June at the municipal stadium. This sporting and community initiative offers residents of the Caen plain a friendly day of treasure hunting in the heart of the village.

At the Garcelles-Secqueville Football Stadium

The event is held at the football stadium, Rue du Stade in Garcelles-Secqueville (14540), a spacious area capable of hosting between 50 and 100 private exhibitors. Stalls line the football pitch, offering visitors a pleasant outdoor browsing experience. Parking is available nearby.

Garcelles-Secqueville, between the Caen Plain and the Norman Countryside

Garcelles-Secqueville is a village located about ten kilometers south of Caen, in the Caen plain. The municipality is part of Le Castelet, a new municipality created within the urban community of Caen la Mer. The rural setting and proximity to the Norman capital make it an ideal location for this type of event, attracting both villagers and bargain hunters from the Caen urban area.

Refreshments, Food, and Friendliness

Castelet FC volunteers provide refreshment and food services throughout the day. Toilets are available. Entry is free for visitors, and advance booking is mandatory for exhibitors, at a rate of €3.50 per linear meter.
