The Nolay Antiques and Flea Market Fair: Half a Century Under the Medieval Market Hall

For over fifty years, the 14th-century Market Hall of Nolay has hosted an antiques and flea market fair that has become a benchmark in Burgundy. Organized by the association Les Amis des Halles, this event takes place twice a year, at Easter and on August 15th, under the monumental timber frame of this historic monument. In 2026, the fair will celebrate its 100th edition, a testament to its remarkable longevity.

An SNCAO-Certified Fair, a Guarantee of Quality

The Nolay Antiques and Flea Market Fair is certified by the SNCAO (National Union of Antique and Second-hand Trade), a guarantee of seriousness, quality, and professionalism. Only professional antique dealers and second-hand dealers exhibit here, presenting regional Burgundian furniture, paintings, jewelry, silverware, old books, antique linens, earthenware, glassware, and collectible curiosities. Visitors can buy with confidence.

Nolay, a Jewel of the Beaunois Region

Nestled in a green valley between Beaune and Autun, the medieval town of Nolay captivates with its preserved architectural heritage. The 14th-century Market Hall, with its impressive wooden frame and stone slab roof, is one of the finest examples of medieval civil architecture in Burgundy. Place Monge, named after the famous mathematician born in Beaune, offers a picturesque and authentic setting for this exceptional fair.

A Biannual Event for Antique Enthusiasts

The double schedule at Easter and on August 15th allows visitors to enjoy the fair in both spring and summer. The approximately fourteen antique dealers offer a varied and updated selection of quality items in a friendly, village-like atmosphere. The fair is easily accessible from Beaune (25 km) and Autun (35 km).
