46th edition of the 5 Days of the Extraordinary Object in Saint-Germain's antique dealers' district
The 5 Days of the Extraordinary Object at Carré Rive Gauche celebrate their 46th edition in June 2026. Along Rue du Bac, Rue de Beaune, Rue de Lille, Rue de Verneuil and Quai Voltaire, the 78 antique galleries, art dealers and decorators of the prestigious 7th arrondissement district open their doors simultaneously around a common theme and unveil their finest pieces. An unmissable event for lovers of decorative arts and collectors, in one of the finest antique dealers' districts in the world.
Created in 1977, the 5 Days of the Extraordinary Object bring together each year the galleries of the prestigious Carré Rive Gauche. In June 2026, for the 46th edition, the 78 dealers along Rue du Bac, Rue de Beaune, Rue de Lille, Rue de Verneuil and Quai Voltaire open their doors simultaneously for five exceptional days.
Each year, a theme inspires all participating gallery owners, each revealing their own selection: a masterpiece, a series, a themed display. Visitors wander the neighbourhood gallery by gallery, like an open-air museum tour.
Specialists in 18th century furniture, Orientalism, Asian arts, archaeology, Art Deco, 20th century design, silverware, old master paintings, rare books and photography are all represented.
Located in the 7th arrondissement, between the Musée d'Orsay and the École des Beaux-Arts, the Carré Rive Gauche occupies four streets and a quay on the Seine. Its 17th and 18th century buildings house the galleries behind magnificent historic facades.
During the 5 Days, galleries organise vernissages, cocktails and meetings with experts. The event is free and open to all.
