Brocante Vide-Grenier Battage Ancien de Saint-Dizier-Leyrenne

On Sunday, August 3, 2025, the village of Saint-Dizier-Leyrenne hosted the Fête à l'Ancienne, a great day of rural traditions including a quality flea market and car boot sale. From 7:30 AM, bargain hunters browsed stalls offering antiques, old furniture, trinkets, tableware, and collectibles in the village streets.

The old-fashioned wheat threshing, carried out with vintage agricultural machinery in working order, was the highlight of the show, immersing visitors in the agricultural world of yesteryear. The exhibition of vintage tractors, folk dances in period costumes, the French cancan show, and wood-fired bread making marked this festive day. The midday country meal, the evening animated dinner, and the fireworks concluded this memorable celebration of the Limousin mountain traditions.
