About Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé Brocante

Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé's antiques fair is held on 15 August in this Montmorillonnais village on the Gartempe riverbank, in eastern Vienne. An annual rendezvous appreciated by browsers and holidaymakers, in a commune known for its medieval heritage, troglodyte caves and exceptional setting between valleys and forests. Ideal for combining browsing and sightseeing.

A fair by the Gartempe

Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé is a rural commune of around 850 inhabitants in the Montmorillonnais, eastern Vienne, on the Gartempe. The village stretches between the river and hillsides dotted with troglodyte caves inhabited since prehistory. Remarkable heritage (castle ruins, Notre-Dame church, troglodyte dwellings) and an outstanding natural setting make it one of Vienne's most endearing villages. The 15 August fair has become a key summer moment.
