Edition Mai 2025 — Brocante Ornans Spring
The 2025 spring edition of the Ornans professional flea market took place on Place Courbet and adjacent areas. Around thirty professional antique dealers and flea market vendors offered their finest pieces — antique furniture, decorative objects, lighting, books, and curiosities — in the incomparable setting of this medieval town in the Loue valley, the birthplace of Gustave Courbet.

Looking back at the 2025 spring edition
In May 2025, the Place Courbet in Ornans hosted its traditional professional spring flea market. Around thirty specialized dealers set up on the central esplanade, the arcades of the Town Hall, and Place Saint-Vernier for a full day dedicated to treasure hunting and antique objects.
Visitors, many of whom traveled from Besançon and neighboring towns in the Doubs region, were able to discover a fine selection of regional furniture, antique tableware, period lighting, and decorative pieces carefully chosen by professionals. The exceptional setting of Ornans, with its houses on stilts spanning the Loue river and its medieval streets, added to the charm of this outdoor treasure hunting day.
The City of Ornans is preparing for the 2026 edition, scheduled for May 10th, which will mark a historic milestone for this emblematic flea market in the Doubs.
