Les Issambres, a resort within the Roquebrune-sur-Argens commune, stretches its seafront along the Mediterranean opposite Sainte-Maxime and the gulf's north shore. This less urban section of the Var coast, quieter than Saint-Raphaël or Fréjus, keeps a residential and natural character of villas, maritime pines and intimate beaches. The Friday summer brocante runs along this promenade.

A weekly summer event

Organised by the Roquebrune Festival Committee, the seafront brocante runs spring to autumn, every Friday, about 25-30 dates a year. This frequency, anchored in tourist seasonality, is typical of Var resort animation strategy : it complements retail and culture for holidaymakers, supporting destination attractiveness.

The offer

Brocante and jumble mix, with professional dealers in the lead. Provençal and Mediterranean furniture, tableware, glassware, linen, bric-a-brac, marine décor (naturally present here), old books and postcards, small furniture, costume jewellery. Private sellers add clothing, toys, books.
