Looking back at the 2025 Brocante and Aviation Day

The Guillerval Brocante and Aviation Day of 1 June 2025 once again demonstrated the uniqueness and appeal of this event in the Essonne landscape. On the aprons of Étampes-Mondésir aerodrome, the century-old cradle of French aviation, around 80 sellers had set up their stalls for the brocante, while the aerodrome club's pilots welcomed visitors for pleasure flights over the Mondésir plateau and the Gâtinais. Several vintage and collection aircraft, carefully restored and presented by their passionate owners, were the highlight of the static display, drawing the gaze and questions of a public fascinated by the history and technology of pioneer aviation. On the brocante side, aviation-themed pieces — models, aeronautical books, meeting posters, collectibles — were a great success with specialist visitors, while general brocante items attracted a wider audience.
