Every December, Bennecourt hosts a distinctive year-end gathering at the village hall, combining a flea market with a Christmas market. This dual format, designed to enliven the village as the festive season approaches, appeals to families looking for both antiques and artisanal gifts. The 2026 edition runs Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December from 8 AM.

A Wide Variety of Vendors

The Christmas market brings together local creators and artisans with decorations, jewelry, wooden objects, regional produce, jams, honey, biscuits and chocolates. The flea market section welcomes classic vendors with antiques, toys, books, curios and small furniture.

The Akantiz Choir and Festive Activities

The Akantiz choir performs in the heart of the market, adding warm musical atmosphere with traditional tunes and carols.

Choucroute, Tartiflette and Mulled Wine

The food is a highlight: choucroute on Saturday, tartiflette on Sunday, with mulled wine, beer and sweet treats prepared by volunteers.
