Weekly flea market every Sunday in Castellare-di-Casinca, organized by the association U Tempu chi Passa
Every Sunday, the association U Tempu chi Passa — whose name means "The Time That Passes" in Corsican — organizes its weekly flea market on the Saint-Pancrace site, in Castellare-di-Casinca. This flea market hosts up to 20 exhibitors who set up from 7 am, offering flea market items, antiques, and second-hand goods in a setting steeped in history.
The Saint-Pancrace site is intimately linked to the history of Castellare-di-Casinca. The Saint-Pancrace church is one of the oldest religious buildings in the region, with origins dating back to the 9th century. Saint Pancras (San Brancà in Corsican) is a revered figure in Corsica: two major fairs are dedicated to him on the island, including the one in Castellare. The Sunday flea market organized by U Tempu chi Passa is part of this tradition of gathering around this emblematic place.
Castellare-di-Casinca is a perched village in the micro-region of Casinca, in Haute-Corse, with the postal code 20213 (shared with Penta-di-Casinca). Perched on the first mountain foothills overlooking the eastern plain and the Tyrrhenian Sea, it offers an exceptional panorama of the Costa Verde. The village benefits from remarkable architectural and natural heritage, with its stone alleys, fountains, and terraced gardens.
Exhibitors are welcomed from 7 am for setup. The number of vendors is limited to 20 participants. Registration is done directly with the association U Tempu chi Passa. The market is held every Sunday, all year round, subject to weather conditions. Free entry for visitors.
