The beloved annual treasure hunt in the heart of a Val-de-Marne village
Nestled in the hills of Val-de-Marne, the small commune of Noiseau (around 2,000 inhabitants) hosts one of the most charming annual flea markets in the department. Organised by the local Comité des Fêtes every first Sunday of April, the market takes over the Place du Vieux Pays and Rue Léon Bresset from dawn until dusk, drawing both locals and visitors in search of unique finds.
What sets the Noiseau flea market apart is its resolutely local, non-commercial character. With a maximum of 200 private exhibitors, visitors can browse vintage furniture, crockery, clothing, children's toys, vinyl records, books and all manner of curious objects. The friendly, unhurried atmosphere makes it perfect for families and seasoned flea-market enthusiasts alike.
First launched in the late 1990s, the market has steadily grown into a cherished springtime ritual for Noiseau residents. The 27th edition took place on 6 April 2025, and the 28th edition is confirmed for 12 April 2026. Entry for visitors is free of charge.
