Friendly flea market in the Breton village of Quistinic, Blavet Valley
The friendly flea market of Quistinic is held in this rural commune in inland Morbihan, nestled in the Blavet Valley. Quistinic, whose Breton name evokes chestnut trees, is a village of nearly 1,400 inhabitants known for its remarkable heritage, particularly the restored village of Poul Fetan with its traditional thatched cottages.
The friendly flea market of Quistinic is a popular event for the inhabitants of the Blavet Valley. In a warm and relaxed atmosphere, individuals and bargain hunters meet to exchange, sell, and buy everyday objects, trinkets, and finds of all kinds.
Quistinic is a rural commune of about 1,400 inhabitants, located between Hennebont and Baud in inland Morbihan. The village gets its name from the Breton "kistin" (chestnut tree) and retains a rich heritage: ancient chapels (Saint-Mathurin, Saint-Gunol), fountains, washhouses, and especially the famous village of Poul Fetan, a set of restored thatched cottages that plunges visitors into the rural life of Brittany of yesteryear.
The event, which is human-sized, allows you to hunt for treasures in a green and authentic setting. It is also an opportunity to discover the surroundings, between moors, forests, and hiking trails along the canalized Blavet.
