Flea market and car boot sale on May 1st in the church square in Breny
Every May 1st, the village of Breny organizes its annual flea market in the place de l'Église. This commune in the south of Aisne, located on the Château-Thierry - Soissons axis, thus perpetuates the tradition of May 1st, a key day for flea markets and car boot sales in the department.
The Comité des fêtes de Breny organizes this event with a rate of 1.50 euros per linear meter. Exhibitors set up from 6:30 a.m. for unpacking from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will find the classic offerings of country flea markets: crockery, trinkets, tools, books, clothes, and various second-hand items.
Breny is a small village in Aisne nestled between the Ourcq and Clignon valleys, in the Tardenois region. This rural area, halfway between Château-Thierry and Fère-en-Tardenois, offers rolling landscapes and discreet heritage that appeal to passing visitors. The May 1st flea market contributes to the animation of this country village.
