Spring flea market and car boot sale organized by ACAV in Valentigney
Every spring, the ACAV — the Association des Commerçants et Artisans de Valentigney — enlivens the town center with its traditional flea market and car boot sale. Founded in 1961, this dynamic association unites the shopkeepers and artisans of Valentigney and works for the economic and festive influence of the municipality.
The ACAV flea market brings together professional flea market vendors, individuals, and local artisans in the streets of Valentigney. Furniture, tableware, trinkets, clothing, tools, books, and antique objects fill the stalls in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This event is an opportunity to rediscover the town center and its local shops in a festive setting.
Created in 1961, ACAV is one of the oldest shopkeeper associations in the Pays de Montbéliard. It brings together around 20 member shops and artisans and organizes several events throughout the year to boost the town and offer residents friendly gatherings. The spring and autumn flea markets are its two annual highlights.
Valentigney, a municipality of some 13,000 inhabitants, is at the heart of the Pays de Montbéliard, in the Doubs department. Neighboring Audincourt and Montbéliard, it has a rich associative fabric and a strong industrial tradition, particularly linked to the history of the border region with Switzerland.
