Auxerre City Centre Braderie

On Saturday 30 August 2025, the pedestrian city centre of Auxerre transformed into a vast open-air market for the annual braderie organised by the Collectif Quartier de l'Horloge. From 9am to 7pm, retailers and private sellers shared the medieval streets of the Yonne prefecture: shops brought out their rails and tables to offer discounts and end-of-line items, while private garage sales set up side by side for a popular day of bargain hunting. Clothing, fashion, bric-à-brac and miscellaneous objects animated the lanes of the old town in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.
