Large back-to-school market in the town center of the Mutzig brewing city
The Mutzig Annual Market is a must-attend back-to-school event in Bas-Rhin. Every September, the town center of this historic brewing city comes alive with nearly 200 exhibitors displaying their goods in the pedestrian streets. Textiles, leather goods, fashion jewelry, decorative items, clothing and artisan products make up a rich and varied offering that attracts thousands of visitors looking for bargains. Organized by the town council in partnership with the non-sedentary traders association, this traditional market takes place on the Tuesday after the first Sunday of September, September 8, 2026.
The Mutzig Annual Market is one of the major events in the Bruche valley. Each year, it brings together nearly 200 exhibitors who take over the town center of the brewing city to offer a diverse commercial range in a festive atmosphere.
Visitors can stroll freely through the streets pedestrianized for the occasion and discover a wide range of goods: textiles and clothing, shoes, leather goods, fashion jewelry, decorative items, cosmetics, toys and local products.
Located about thirty kilometers west of Strasbourg, Mutzig is a small town of over 5,800 inhabitants famous for its historic brewery founded in 1810 and its impressive Fort de Mutzig.
