Spring literary hunting in the gulf
On 30 May 2026, from 9am to 5pm, Cogolin hosts its traditional spring book fair. A focused event, far from generalist flea markets, it delights fans of second-hand reading, comics, old books and themed collections in the quiet setting of Cogolin town centre.
Unlike classic flea markets, the Cogolin book fair is entirely devoted to books and printed matter. Held in the town centre on Saturday 30 May 2026 from 9am to 5pm, it is the book lovers' rendezvous of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and the Maures massif. An autumn edition on 7 November 2026 completes the yearly cycle.
It suits avid readers refilling their libraries at low prices and collectors hunting rare or themed finds. Sellers are mostly private, sometimes cultural associations and a few second-hand booksellers.
A perfect format to stock up pre-summer reading at accessible prices (most titles €1-€5). Also a collectors' rendezvous: 80s comics, original local editions, Provençal illustrated books draw connoisseurs from the department and beyond.
Beyond its famous pipes and rugs, Cogolin has developed a rich cultural offer (library, exhibitions, Marius Foiseau theatre) of which this book fair is a highlight. Pedestrian town centre hosts the event.
