The literary rendezvous for long autumn evenings
On Saturday 7 November 2026, 9am to 5pm, Cogolin hosts its autumn book fair. Counterpart to the spring edition, it is ideal to build a winter reading library. Second-hand books, comics, old books and themed collections take over Cogolin town centre for a bibliophile day.
Second date of the yearly cycle, the autumn book fair takes place on Saturday 7 November 2026, 9am to 5pm, in the town centre. It completes the spring fair (30 May 2026) and gives Gulf of Saint-Tropez bibliophiles a new literary date as mild Provence invites more reading.
Like in spring, it is a focused alternative to generalist flea markets. Exclusively books and printed matter, across many formats, periods and themes. Mostly private sellers, plus local cultural associations and a few second-hand booksellers.
November is perfect for year-end gift shopping. The fair offers low prices for Christmas presents and rare finds for personal libraries. Beautifully bound books are especially present.
In November, the Gulf of Saint-Tropez regains its pre-summer calm. Cogolin, in wooded hills, has one of the best-preserved historic centres. After the fair, relax at a café, wander the old village or visit the Ribbon and Weaving Conservatory.
