Mom-baby exchange organized by the association Les P'tites Fourmis in Theix-Noyalo
The association Les P'tites Fourmis has been organizing mom-baby clothing exchanges in Theix-Noyalo since 2002. This biannual event allows families to sell and buy children's clothing (0-14 years), childcare items, and outdoor games at low prices. Items are dropped off on Friday and sales run from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon.
Founded in October 2002 by five mothers from Theix, the association Les P'tites Fourmis regularly organizes mom-baby clothing exchanges in Theix-Noyalo. The concept is simple: to allow families to sell and buy children's clothing from 0 to 14 years old, childcare items, and outdoor games at reduced prices.
The system operates on consignment: sellers drop off their items on Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and the sale takes place on Friday evening from 6:30 PM to 8 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. Unsold items can be collected on Saturday evening. Since 2006, all profits have been donated to associations supporting seriously ill children.
Theix-Noyalo, a town of approximately 8,500 inhabitants, is located at the gateway to the Golfe du Morbihan, between Vannes and Séné. The hall provided by the municipality, at 12 rue de Rosmadec, hosts these events in a practical and accessible setting.
