APE and Festival Committee Car Boot Sale in Montsûrs-Saint-Céneré

Every summer in August, the commune of Montsûrs-Saint-Céneré (53150) hosts its grand Car Boot Sale, organized jointly by the Parents' Association (APE) and the Festival Committee. This collaboration between two local associations allows for the mobilization of a large network of volunteers and the organization of a quality event bringing together around 250 exhibitors.

Montsûrs-Saint-Céneré was born from the merger of the communes of Montsûrs and Saint-Céneré. Located in northeastern Mayenne, this rural commune benefits from a typically Mayenne hedged farmland setting, punctuated by the meanders of the Jouanne river. Its summer car boot sale is one of the highlights of local festive life.

The co-organization between the APE and the Festival Committee gives this event a family-friendly and popular dimension. The APE mobilizes the schoolchildren's families, while the Festival Committee livens up the festive aspect and catering. Together, they make this August car boot sale a well-oiled and highly appreciated event. The profits are shared between the school's educational projects and the Festival Committee's activities.
