2025 Review: Collective House Clearance on Rue de la Liberté

In May 2025, Chennevières-sur-Marne's Rue de la Liberté once again came alive with its annual collective house clearance. The 4th edition of this singular neighbourhood event brought residents together over a weekend to transform their street into a vast open-air second-hand market. Makeshift stalls in front of each house offered an eclectic and surprising browsing trail, from furniture and electrical appliances to clothing, toys and decorative objects. The neighbourly, festive atmosphere that characterises this event gives it a special charm, drawing ever-growing numbers of visitors year on year.
