28th Buffon Car Boot Sale

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, the village of Buffon hosted the 28th edition of its annual car boot sale, organized by the Amicale Buffonnaise La Bisfons. Exhibitors, set up from 6 a.m. in the village streets, offered their second-hand items to bargain hunters from Montbard and the surrounding areas.

At a rate of 1 euro per linear meter, about fifty exhibitors enlivened this day in a typical Burgundian village setting in Côte-d'Or, a stone's throw from the historic Grande Forge of the Count of Buffon. The friendly atmosphere and the longevity of this event, which celebrated its 28th anniversary, attest to the inhabitants' attachment to this summer tradition.
