On Sunday 10 May 2026, the André Gide school in Harfleur hosts the 25th edition of its great flea market. This event, organised by the parents' association, has become a true spring classic in the Le Havre area.
Locals and occasional sellers fill the streets around the school with all kinds of second-hand items: clothes, toys, board games, books, comics, crockery, baby items, bikes and small furniture. The variety and longevity of the event guarantee an exceptional choice for visitors.
Beyond the pleasure of browsing, this flea market is above all a charitable event: the proceeds fund the school cooperative and educational projects.
Located at the mouth of the Lézarde, on the immediate outskirts of Le Havre, the town of Harfleur preserves a remarkable historic heritage as a former great medieval Norman port, scene of the famous siege of 1415 by Henry V of England.
