The Justices-Pijolins Neighborhood Flea Market: A Spring Tradition in Bourges

Since 2011, the Justices-Pijolins Neighborhood Association has organized its grand flea market every year in the residential streets of southern Bourges. In 2026, the event celebrates its 16th edition, proof of the attachment of residents and bargain hunters to this friendly gathering. The streets of Parc and 1st Artillery Regiment are transformed into a vast open-air market where individuals offer trinkets, tableware, clothing, books, toys, and second-hand furniture.

A Lively Neighborhood for a Day

The Justices-Pijolins neighborhood, located south of the historic center of Bourges, offers a pleasant and green setting for this event. Stalls line the sidewalks, while families stroll between the stands in search of bargains. The atmosphere is resolutely family-friendly and relaxed, with a buffet and refreshment stand run by association volunteers to regain strength between finds.

An Amateur and Solidarity Flea Market

Reserved for individuals, this flea market favors the spirit of a car boot sale and second-hand goods. The pitches, charged at 3 euros per linear meter, remain accessible to all. Its success is such that spots are often filled well before the day itself. The profits from the event contribute to financing the association's activities, which animate the neighborhood throughout the year: neighbors' party, neighborhood meal, activities for children.

Practical Information

Access is free for visitors. Parking is available nearby. The flea market takes place rain or shine, with exhibitors setting up as early as 5:30 am for the early birds.
