The specialist militaria and antique weapons fair in the Bressuire bocage
The 14th Ardin Militaria Fair is a specialist exhibition held every May at the Salle du Chaillot. Around fifteen passionate exhibitors offer antique and hunting weapons, military uniforms, insignia, medals, history books, and collectibles related to military heritage. Complemented by a thematic exhibition on World War II, this fair attracts collectors and history enthusiasts from across the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
For fourteen editions, the Ardin Militaria Fair has established itself as an unmissable event for militaria enthusiasts in western France. Held at the Salle du Chaillot, this specialist event brings together around fifteen carefully selected exhibitors presenting a remarkable range of military heritage objects.
The fair offers for sale and exchange a great diversity of items: antique and hunting weapons, military uniforms from various eras, regimental insignia, medals and decorations, military headgear, campaign equipment, period documents and photographs, military history books, and scale models.
Complementing the fair, a thematic exhibition dedicated to World War II allows visitors to deepen their historical knowledge, with a particular focus on the local history of the Deux-Sevres bocage during the Occupation and Liberation.
Ardin is a rural commune in Deux-Sevres located in the Bressuire bocage, between Niort and Fontenay-le-Comte.
